FRT Trigger FAQ
- What is an FRT trigger?
A forced reset trigger uses the rifle’s own action to push the trigger forward after each shot. The shooter must still pull the trigger once for every round fired. - Are forced reset triggers legal in Ohio?
A 2025 DOJ settlement ended the federal ban on eligible FRTs, and Ohio has no statute specifically prohibiting them. Laws change, so always check current federal, state, and local rules before you buy. - Do you ship FRT triggers to every state?
No. Some states restrict or prohibit FRTs, and we can’t ship to those locations. Check our shipping policy before ordering. - How much does an FRT trigger cost?
Prices vary by brand and design. Each product page lists current pricing. - Which FRT is best for my AR-15?
It depends on your lower, your safety selector, and how you shoot. Contact us with your build and we’ll recommend a fit. What is the best drop-in trigger for an AR-15?
It depends on your use. Match shooters usually prefer a crisp single stage, while general-purpose rifles do well with a smooth two-stage. Contact us with your build for a recommendation. Can I upgrade my Glock trigger without a gunsmith?
Many upgrades, such as trigger shoes, connectors, and springs, are designed for owners to install. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and have a qualified gunsmith do anything you’re not confident about.Do you sell forced reset triggers?

We ship where it’s legal. Some items can’t go to certain states.

Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs)
We carry forced reset triggers from leading brands for eligible AR-15 platforms. Each trigger resets mechanically, but every round still needs its own trigger pull. Check each listing for compatibility and shipping restrictions, since some states prohibit these products.
